Badlands are often referred to as a combination between a desert and the wilderness. It's a place where most people fear to go— and for good reason. The wilderness has brutality built into its DNA. The creatures that lay within spell death for the unprepared. To survive in the badlands one must master survival itself.

From Nick: The wilds refer to many things. Some of us have fought for resources. Others for our lives. And others for something as seemingly harmless as attention. The wiser I become, the more I realize that all of us have faced hardship. And the three examples I just listed all would have forced us to alter ourselves in a desperate attempt to secure an important need. Attention and connection are a vital part of our health. I hope sometime soon you can make time to sit down and relax with those you love.
Remember, even the mighty predators of The Badlands make time to rest and recharge. I know of no living creature that can hunt or defend itself at all moments of the day without sacrificing its health.
